Bookings are now open for our 2026 winter flu and COVID vaccination campaign, with appointments available from 1 October 2026.
Eligible patients will receive a text message invitation with details of how to book.
Our main vaccination clinic will be held on:
Saturday 3 October 2026
We will also hold a catch-up clinic on:
Saturday 14 November 2026
For patients who are unable to attend either Saturday clinic, we will have a limited number of appointments available with our Healthcare Assistants throughout October.
Who is eligible for a free NHS flu vaccination?
You are eligible if you:
- are aged 65 or over (including those who will turn 65 by 31 March 2027)
- are aged 18 to 64 with certain long-term health conditions, including some heart, lung, kidney, liver or neurological conditions, diabetes, a weakened immune system, learning disabilities or a BMI of 40 or above
- are pregnant
- live in a care home
- are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive Carer’s Allowance
- live with someone who has a weakened immune system
- are experiencing homelessness or staying in a homeless hostel or night shelter
Frontline health and social care workers may also be eligible, although vaccination will usually be provided through their employer.
COVID vaccination
The COVID-19 vaccination will also be available at our clinics to patients who are eligible for the NHS autumn 2026 programme.
COVID vaccination is currently offered to:
- adults aged 75 and over (including those who will turn 75 by 31 January 2027)
- people aged 6 months to 74 years who have a weakened immune system because of a health condition or treatment
- people living in a care home for older adults
If you are eligible for both flu and COVID vaccinations, they can be given safely at the same appointment.
Housebound patients
We are currently in the process of identifying patients who are housebound and eligible for vaccination.
If this applies to you, there is no need to contact the surgery at this stage. We will be in touch shortly to arrange a home visit.
Book your appointment
If you are eligible, you can book your appointment now for a date from 1 October onwards.
Eligible patients will receive a text invitation, and we strongly encourage those who are able to attend our Saturday 3 October clinic to book on this date, as this will be our main vaccination clinic of the season.
If you are unsure whether you are eligible, further information is available on the NHS website:
