Dr Smith has retired
- Tuesday 31st August 2021
After over 30 years at Nethergreen Surgery, Dr Smith has taken the decision to retire and left the practice in August 2021.
He leaves us in good health and high spirits and is looking forward to a well-earned retirement with his wife and family. He will be sorely missed by staff and patients alike for his diligent and empathetic care and sense of humour.
His clinical sessions will be taken up by other doctors at the Practice and an expansion of the clinical team, but we will miss his considered leadership and wealth of experience at the Surgery.
Dr Smith has asked us to pass on the following message :
“It has been a privilege to look after so many patients over the years and get to know many of you and your families. I am looking forward to my retirement and I wish you all the very best for the future particularly given the circumstances we have experienced over the last year.
I feel very fortunate to have been a part of a wonderful team at Nethergreen for so many years and I know I am leaving you in their very good and capable hands.”
Thank you to all those who submitted messages of goodwill, they were very much appreciated.
