Student Wellbeing Resource
Learn Sheffield is a not for profit schools company which is focussed on school improvement and owned by Sheffield’s schools and colleges in partnership with Sheffield City Council.
Together with Sheffield City Council and a range of providers they have developed a comprehensive resource to support schools to meet the needs of vulnerable pupils. It provides information about a range of barriers that children and young people may face. The resource can be found on the Learn Sheffield website.
Each section provides an overview of the barriers, some best practice advice, and links to available resources and local provision.
Teenage Wellbeing Support:
Door 43 Wellbeing Wednesday Service
On Wednesdays, named wellbeing Wednesdays by our team, you can access one-to-one emotional support over the phone, text or video call.

Kooth:
Free, safe and anonymous online support for our young people. Friendly counsellors available to talk to online until 10pm. Also provides community support and self-help advice. To access this, sign up on website https://www.kooth.com/
MeeTwo:
Mee Two App is a free fully moderated app for young people, providing a neutral space which allows young people to experiment with what it feels like to open up about their difficulties without drawing attention to themselves while positive feedback and social support builds confidence, increases wellbeing and promotes emotional resilience.
Shout:
Shout is the UK's first 24/7 text service, free on all major mobile networks, for anyone in crisis anytime, anywhere. It's a place to go if you're struggling to cope and you need immediate help.
